ReplyDeleteI read a lot of PNR and contemporary romance. I'm trying to read more HR. Ummmm... if I want a "comfort" historical, I go w/ Julie Garwood and I'm currently reading Tempting her Best Friend by Gina Maxwell :) Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite historical author is Gwen Bristow. She's not well-known and did not write many books, but her storytelling and historical research are excellent.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember the last time I read a contemporary romance. I usually read historical romances. It would be fun to win and to break that trend in my reading! :)

ReplyDeleteHere lately I have been reading a lot of YA books. My 16 year old granddaughter loves to read, so I try to think about her when I buy something. She reads so much faster than I do, so I am running behind!!!!

The last contemporary that I read was either I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella or Before Jamaica Lane by Samantha Young.

ReplyDeleteBefore, I could say that it was Romance or Mystery but I have been trying a wider variety and now I know what I have been missing. Variety is the spice of life and increasing the genres has made my reading list so much more complete.
