Western Roundup Giveaway Hop

Second Annual Western Roundup Giveaway Hop
July 19th - 31st 2013

Hosted by MK McClintock.

I was still in high school when I discovered the romantic cowboy.  I had seen my grandfather's Louis L'amour and Zane Gray books, but they didn't seem very interesting to a young girl.  I think I was first introduced via Janet Dailey's Calder Saga.  But I quickly moved on to Diana Palmer's Long, Tall Texan Series.  From there I went historical with the likes of Johanna Lindsey and many others. It wasn't long before those powerful men of the west frontier became one of my favorite genres.

To celebrate the romance of the Wild West, I chose a book that features two of the staples of my romantic daydreams: the lawman and the outlaw.

My giveaway is open to anyone who lives anywhere
the Book Depository ships.

Good Luck and thanks for joining us

on the Western Round Up.

I don't know if this will count as a good Western to a Western snob, but the last one I read and enjoyed was Untethered by Marcia Lynn McClure. =) Thanks for the giveaway!

  2. I recently read Short Straw Bride by Karen Witemeyer. It was really cute! It's a romance set in Texas in the late 1800's.

  4. Oh, you should at least give one a chance. There are some really great reads in the western genre, be they historical or contemporary. After all, everyone loves a cowboy. :)
