The most wonderful time of the year is back with On The Naughty List, bringing perennial favorite holiday stories from Lori Foster and Carly Phillips, along with two Christmas stories that delighted readers a year ago. This sexy anthology will make you want to give your heart to Christmas again and again…

Lori Foster has two co-workers plan a Christmas party side-by-side-and discover a love worth celebrating in Christmas Bonus

Carly Phillips explores a "mistletoe moment" when a no-nonsense lawyer intent on seducing her boss meets his twin instead--and gives him a scintillating kiss that leaves him begging for more in Naughty Under the Mistletoe.

In Sugar Jamison’s Have Yourself a Curvy Little Christmas, former wild child Dina Gregory returns home to New York to find the father of her young son. Instead, she finds his stuffy older brother, Ben. Ben can’t help but admire her tenacity—and her bold beauty. Could it be that Dina has reignited his Christmas spirit?

Beth Ciotta brings two friends who, after years apart, together at home for the holidays. They don’t seem to have much in common anymore, but when the two get stranded together during a blizzard, they are forced to reexamine if they are better off as "just friends"? Or could it be that true love was there all along? in Some Kind of Wonderful.

When I saw this on Netgalley, I knew it was for me, Christmas and Anthology just go so well together and are two of my favorite reads.  Plus, Lori Foster, Carly Phillips and one of my new favorite authors, Sugar Jamison. What more could I ask for?

Christmas Bonus by Lori Foster was a very sexy read. Not so much in the actual sex, but in the sparks and chemistry that fairly exploded off the page. Lori Foster has always been great at making the characters sizzle. It was a quick read, but all the elements were there to make it a complete story.

Naughty Under the Mistletoe gives us a bit of mistaken identity. There is some insta-love going on here that I wasn't quite down with, but it was an interesting story and I wouldn't mind exploring the world created a bit more in depth.

Some Kind of Wonderful was a story of two old friends seeing each other in a new light and rediscovering their friendship.  There is also a bit of some Christmas Carol-esque moments redone that I really enjoyed.

The last story, Have Yourself a Curvy Little Christmas was one that I had actually read and enjoyed last year.  Surprisingly, all 4 of these stories were reprints, but I only remember reading this one.  I will admit that I did some light skimming, but mostly I enjoyed re-reading a great story.

Basically, this was a great Christmas read, with a little something for everyone. One of the things I love most about Anthologies is the chance to try out new authors without committing to a full length novel. Plus they are a great read when you really just don't have a lot of time to read. Overall, I gave this 4 stars.

  1. Xmas and anthologies are indeed a match made in heaven; I'm still trying to get through my Halloween themed reads mind you, so I'll probably save this one for December when I'm in need of some good holiday cheer. Lovely review!

    1. I am not real big on the scary side of things... I mean, besides vamps and werewolves getting their romance on. I have exactly 1 anthology on my Halloween themed reads - Shiver - the anthology with the proceeds going to St. Jude. And truth be told, I got it for the Penny Reid story. :)

    1. I know right! I once went on a Lori Foster binge read and read everything she had out up to that point. Luckily I was able to get most of the books through Paperbackswap, so it didn't completely kill my pocket. I absolutely adore her Winstons, and the Buckhorns, and the Bravas and especially her SBC fighters... Okay, and this is why I was on a binge read. LOL.
